Chester Productions - US - 1918-1922 - production company with offices at 1438 Gower St. Hollywood, California and 130 W. 41st St. New York; C. L. Chester was president and treasurer, Albert Britt was V. P., and William S. Campbell was production manager; produced a variety of series which included Chester Comedies and Chester Junior Comedies that were distributed through Federated Exchanges, and Chester Outings, Chester Screenics, and travelogues which were distributed through Educational Film Corp; a major fire in 1921 destroyed the studio; a few chimp based comedies were produced after the fire.
